What does each parameter mean?

Population size

The total universe of people you could interview. For national studies or very broad categories, consider the population as "infinite" (over 1M).

Confidence level

Indicates how sure you want to be of your results. With 95%, if you replicate the study 100 times, 95 times you will get the same results within the margin of error.

Margin of error

The precision of your results. ±5% means that if 60% prefer your product, the real value is between 55% and 65%. A ±5% margin is the gold standard in research.
